Both being in the right mood to explore this fantasy, we discussed and considered several potential candidates, until someone came up we both could related to eventually. Beside some semi-nude dancing nothing really happened that night though, but I seemed to have at least unlocked a door with my confessed fantasy…

I brought the subject up a few times now, mostly jokingly, sometimes more seriously, and her reactions seem to vary as well. When I joke about 'our' threesome she usually jokes along, but when I bring the supposed candidate up during sex, she appears more hesitate about it. At the other hand, she could not imagine herself feeling comfortable having sex with another guy out of the blue, while I was there watching. She suggested that they better might start out on their own, getting to know each other, and I could then join in on them ten or fifteen minutes later on. That would be my sore spot: I wouldn't be able to stand missing out on it even for a few minutes…  I wouldn't have to join in every time or all the time, but at least would like to be there and watch.
Knowing herself, she was also a bit concerned of falling in love or getting dependent of it. While we do have a strong relation and our marriage is lovingly and faithfully, I know my wife well enough to acknowledge  the fact that sometimes she can get overly enthusiastic…

We also both agreed, while our potential candidate was an interesting ánd realistic choice, that -if- we would ever do a threesome, it would be wiser to 'use' an anonymous partner. It would exclude the risk of falling in love, and less a concern with privacy. Now, I'm not sure anymore what to do at this point. Should I let it all be just a fantasy, or should I try to persuade her?
