Your story is not uncommon.
In my experience as a Bull I’ve had two of my long term couples started off trying swinging. With both the husbands told me that while they were swapping they were always more interested in seeing their wives pleasured, that the woman they were fucking.

Once they discovered their desire for a different dynamic it was just a matter of convincing their wives. One was a very long transition, with the other it was a natural progression.
