Dear Jezz,

I appreciated our conversation last week and have told Emily how i have accepted all your requirements. She is very pleased and says that we will get on well. I don’t doubt that. You seem to bring out the best in her. She is very effusive about you. Emily asked whether I am shocked that she has such an intense relationship with you and I admitted I was, at first. But she is such a vibrant lady. Emily is strong willed and she has real poise. What man wouldn’t want her.

As you know I am seeing her this evening, because she has another party to go to tomorrow night. I do want to take her away in August, down to a villa that I use in the south if France. It will be a chance for her to relax and for me to take her shopping around some of the boutiques. We have friends down there and I have already confided that i am besotted with this stunning woman. Because of them I don’t want James along and will tell him that I have project work for him to complete back home.

But I need to know whether this is OK with you?I won’t ask if you don’t give the green light. Also, is this the right way to handle her husband?
