After leaving the gastropub I decide to give James a call on his mobile. My motives- support, voyeurism to hear about what Mags is up to, to keep James in that state he both needs and loathes- yes, all of those things. If i have orchestrated tonights events then I am not controlling them. Mags and CC, Emily and Duncan now are. I opened the start gate- facilitated, what ever you want to call it. But remember if you are a cuck, then this assertiveness, this willingness to take charge is what your wife likes in a bull. You don’t provide that right? You wait on, ask permission, consult, such nice things. But sometimes even the considerate bull pushes the agenda. Its what we do.

‘Where are you?’
‘In the car…outside the restaurant Jezz.’

‘No…I gave her to Duncan, She’s over at his place. I guess she will be out if you get back tonight.’
‘Oh. Probably won’t get back tonight.’
