Mags rang- so many calls and all pleasant. I’m back from seeing James and he as fine. He is rehearsing French phrases to practice Emily on. Apparently your tongue moves differently in French. Anyway, it seems to help him.

Dave has taken Mags to an open air museum on the south coast somewhere- it is full of lovely lunatic volunteers who act out life in bygone centuries.
