There were many times at which you could have and should have put your foot down. Taking the “punishment” comes quickly to mind. You totally wimped out. Your wife, by the time of the initial “punishment,” had proven that her value to you was totally past tense. When she was training your daughters to think of you as dirt, you needed to turn things around. The small sexual favors that she granted you were insufficient for you to surrender your personhood. Pity that you failed and seen still to fail to realize that.
