Agree with newcastlekey1uk. We hope that too that their daughter is an adult, otherwise OP’s post is very concerning. I’m all for every relationship dynamic being family friendly, as it wouldn’t work otherwise for families, but it has to be in an appropriate way. The situation OP described doesn’t sound like it.
