You have stumbled over the dilemma that haunts most of us that try to live two lives. Superman and Batman had the same problem but managed and you can do it too. Just learn to compartmentalize the separate personae. Shifting back and forth is the trick. What I did was mentally find my phone booth or elevator to the Bat Cave. My wife had a bit more trouble with it than I did but she managed. The only time we had a serious problem was when we tried to combine the two lives socially, i.e., barbecues with people from both lives invited or holiday celebrations mixing the two lives. Rare but it did happen. How you separate your secret life from your everyday vanilla life can be an exciting part of the lifestyle. Walking on that edge will keep you awake at night but revel in it. It’s the spice of life.
