As the Americans here know (perhaps), Craigslist – long the watering hole for all things debaucherous as well as mundane – has removed its personals section owing to the passing of a new law in our country. Craigslist was how I and many others came into this fantasy and lifestyle and was the medium through which we connected with people in it, interested in it, or otherwise just passed the time. It’s melancholic to turn the page on that because it feels less like a new chapter and more like the epilogue.
I fell into cuckolding and particularly pregnancy risk and insemination/breeding (or the fantasy there-to, as was more often the case) back in the 1990s owing to a random hookup through Craigslist. I knew very little then other than my own immature and uncultivated desires, and it was through that platform that I met people who shared the fantasies and sometimes realities of this kink as well as expanding the boundaries further in knowledge if not experiences. It’s a common story I imagine, and especially among other communities like LGBT, dom/sub and BDSM, and the polyamory groups. Still, that initial encounter led to years of exploration and development all through Craigslist. I don’t know of any decent alternative and in a way I don’t think there is one both for legal as well as sentimental reasons. Rationally it’s for the best in some lights.
No need to go off on a dalliance on this topic, but I just wanted to put out a post to likeminded persons in this space to quietly lament what was lost, not unlike a former addict I suppose who knows it’s better to be clean now but remembers the highs (and the lows and risks in-between). I wish the best to everyone and their connections present and future as we all continue to grow in ourselves and our relationships.

My wife and I share your dismay at the loss of CL personals. Over the years, CL personals were the most successful way for us to find men for her, with a much higher success rate than the paid personal sites we also used.
Certainly, CL was full of flakes and wannabes. And for every good man we found for her there, we got hundreds of one line “wanna fuck?” replies, a million unsolicited cock photos, and a goodly proportion of men who’d agree to meet and then not show and never be heard from again.
Like you, I also found CL’s personals to be a good place to link up with people who shared our lifestyle interests…not for sex, but to share our stories and experiences and to learn from each other. I’m hopeful that I’ll find something similar here.

I can’t find an edit option, but I meant 2000s (not 1990s; sorry all, my mind must have been on other things that have come and gone).
Good luck to us all, Pixwellguy! Certainly communities like this one, and especially this one given it’s useful information and resources, sprang up in response to everyone having a bit more freedom to maneuver. Not quite the same – the generalness of Craigslist made it easy to reach a lot of people, many of whom did not yet know they had a fantasy or kink like this until they see a posting – but still, glad people have more resources now.

CL was an amazing resource. We found hundreds of men for my wife there. CL made it easy to set up GBs. Yes, there were flakes, but enough men who actually did show up. We’ve met men through Fetlife. But that’s not as useful as CL was. We were bummed when we went onto CL and realized that CL had chosen to take away our way of finding men easily. We miss CL.

CL was always a great place to find guys – flakes yes but plenty of safe on the down low married guys wanting another mans wife. Way better than any swinger site we’ve tried RIP CL

If you don’t want to use the verified / certified single men on the swinger sites I’ve heard that couples are finding men on reddit sub groups. Ive browsed myself and found a few cuckold sub-reddits based on location.

I too miss Craig’s list. I used it a few times when I was living in Vegas and found it a good area to meet new people. It provided an important service for a lot of people seeking others and it is a shame it no longer allows personals. Any other options?
