I am a bit new here, so maybe it is a little bold to immediately suggest a feature.
But for anyone unfamiliar, Discord is a lightweight app that can run on browser, or phone. It is a popular app with many that allows the creation of as many text channels as you would like, and even offers voice channels. I use this for all kinds of hobbys and work. This site seems like it would be perfect for such a platform.
In the other communities I am a part of people post stuff all day from pictures, memes, and just daily happenings. It is well built and snappy.
Just a suggestion 🙂
PS. The most important part, is that it is free. And has no ads.
