We are starting out in the lifestyle with help from one of my wife’s gfs. She and her ex used to host a small swing group and have helped others start out – she’s taken Nikki out dancing to meet guys, plans to help screen and set up her first bull. We have talked about the dynamics of her going out, hosting, etc. which is complicated by us having two preteen/tween daughters at home. Carrie’s advice has been similar to the guides on here – to be open and honest, letting them know and meet him and me helping them to understand our new roles and accept him as part of the family. Over time letting them see intimacy like him kissing her or removing her top and bra in front of me and the girls so they see that I am accepting and that we are all still happy and a family. I’m struggling so hard with this part of it but Carrie has pointed out that it will result in a better long-term relationship for my wife and strengthen our situation overall by integrating him early into our marriage.
